Jacoby Brissett was excited following the Browns 23-17 win over the Buccaneers in overtime.
Jacoby Brissett wrapped up what is his final game getting a start for the Cleveland Browns, as long as everything goes to plan and he isn’t resigned. Brissett led the Browns to an overtime defeat of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to put Cleveland at 4-7 on the season. “I mean this is no disrespect. But in the words of Tom Brady, that was f*****’ awesome. That was f*****’ awesome.”
Brady and Brissett were teammates in New England and still stay in contact to this day. Brissett didn’t play his best game yet, but he played well when it mattered most down the stretch. On third-and-short, Brissett found Amari Cooper on a 45-yard gain to set up the game-winning touchdown.
“Obviously, grateful for this opportunity. Grateful for those men in that room. We’ve got to stack them.” Now, the keys to the offense will go over to Watson. Up next for Cleveland is a trip to Houston to take on the Texans.
