Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is ready for the NFL Playoffs.   Mahomes and the Chiefs wrapped up their regular season with a 31-13 win over the Raiders on Saturday night.   Kansas City now gets a much-deserved first-round bye before the AFC’s divisional round.   Mahomes is ready for another Super Bowl run.

“Final goal in mind,” Mahomes said on Twitter.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have done this before. They won the Super Bowl in 2020, but haven’t won one since.

Kansas City is no doubt a favorite to emerge from the AFC and make it to the big game. However, the Chiefs will likely have to get past either the Jaguars/Chargers and likely Buffalo to get there.   Mahomes, Andy Reid and the Chiefs have built an incredible culture these past few years. Mahomes spoke about that culture after Saturday’s game.

“We go out there and we try to get the best out every single day, but the coaches let us have fun. That’s what keeps us going,” Mahomes said, via NFL.com. “We built this culture of, ‘Let’s go out there and practice, have a great time doing it, enjoy it, have fun, but same time, let’s be great.’ That stuff was here before I even got here, and I’m just glad I’m in this organization and get to do it every single day.”  Mahomes and the Chiefs get next weekend off.
