Kansas City Chiefs beat Baltimore Ravens in the 2024/25 NFL opening match
Taylor Swift surprised her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, with $42,000 worth of designer gifts ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener.
The gesture was intended to help Kelce prepare for another Super Bowl campaign with his team which began against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
Swift, 34, carefully selected a range of luxury items for Kelce, including clothing and accessories tailored for his travels during the 2024 NFL season.
A source close to Kelce revealed that many of the items were thoughtfully chosen in red, the Chiefs’ team color.
“The team is getting ready for a lot of road trips this season, and Taylor wanted to make sure Travis was set,” the insider shared.
“She picked out fall and winter clothes, knowing temperatures would drop soon. Travis had been talking about a cardigan he saw in Paris, and Taylor made sure he got it, along with other essentials like jackets, coats, and bags.”
What did Taylor Swift buy Travis Kelce?
Among the standout gifts were two Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandouliere bags, priced at $4,000 and $4,800, along with a $11,100 rolling trunk and a $1,130 toiletry bag.
Swift also included a $2,060 cashmere cardigan, a $1,450 silk and cashmere turtleneck, and a $560 beanie, all from Louis Vuitton. In addition, she gifted Kelce two Hermès jackets: a $5,050 rib-trim jacket and a $5,850 hooded coat.
The source added, “They love exchanging gifts on special occasions, and this was Taylor’s way of wishing Travis a great season.”
As the Chiefs launched their NFL campaign, with Swift in attendance at the opener against the Baltimore Ravens, security in Kansas City was heightened.
The pop star attended 13 Chiefs games last season, including the Super Bowl, and plans to support Kelce again this year.
Thanks to Swift’s thoughtful gesture, Kelce is well-equipped for the upcoming season, both on and off the field.
