Southwest Is Making It Easier to Get to Taylor Swift’s U.S. Concerts With These Flights
Southwest Airlines is ready for it — ready for Taylor Swift, that is.
Swifties will especially love the special flight numbers Southwest has chosen to mark the occasion.
On Oct. 17, the airline will fly flight number 22 (referring to her hit song) from Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale along with flight 1989 (the year she was born and the name of one of her albums) from Nashville to Miami. On Oct. 20, Southwest will operate flight 1313 (13 is her favorite number) from Miami to Nashville and flight 1213 from Fort Lauderdale to Baltimore.
A few days later, Southwest will bring fans to New Orleans with additional flights to the city, including from Austin, Baltimore, Dallas, and San Antonio on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. Then on Oct. 27, the airline said it would add additional flights back to those same cities.
“Southwest is excited to welcome Swifties and looks forward to celebrating with them as they hit the road to see one of the most successful female artists of all time!” the airline wrote. “And remember, just like your first two checked bags, bracelets fly free!”
