Ever since his retirement from the NFL in February, Tom Brady has been vocal multiple times whenever rumors about him coming back to play football arise in the media and this Friday he took the opportunity to do so at his ‘unofficial’ retirement party in South Florida, hosted by Autograph.

Brady mentioned that there’s nothing that he loves more than playing football, but it’s time for him to move on to other stuff, with his family being at the forefront of that thought.

“There is nothing I love more than football, but I have young children and they watched enough of their dad’s games and it’s time for me to watch their games.”

Tom Brady volunteered at an animal shelter with his children

Tom Brady and his kids would spend hours assisting the animals at the Humane Society Tampa Bay animal shelter in any way they could, with the Brady’s only interested in showing their benevolence without having any attention brought to it, keeping his involvement a secret for a long time during his time with the Buccaneers.

Brady asked for anonimity when he volunteered alongside his children to work at the shelter after he picked them up from school, as Sherry Silk, who leads Humane Society Tampa Bay, explained.

“You’d see his pickup truck, he would pull into our lot and there he was. He would always wear a baseball cap. Sometimes people would recognize him and they would ask him for an autograph; not too many, and I didn’t allow the staff to do any of that. And he just came in and did his thing,” Silk told the Tampa Bay Times.
