Tyreek Hill Is Furious About Tuesday’s Eric Bieniemy Development

Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win on Sunday, however, Bieniemy’s contract with the franchise expired.  With a few offensive coordinator roles around the league still vacant, a once weapon in Bieniemy’s Kansas City offense – Tyreek Hill – is wondering why his former coach hasn’t taken another position.

In a tweet this Tuesday afternoon, Hill said, “EB still no job is crazy to me , another great coach slept on.”

Bieniemy has interviewed for at least 12 head coaching vacancies over the past five years, according to a report from NFL.com.  Despite his accomplishments in Kansas City and willingness to seek career improvement, though, he’s still yet to land one.  Though it seems highly unlikely that he’ll find a head coaching job this cycle, there is one opening that could bolster his resume.

The Commanders have reportedly shown interest in Bieniemy for their vacant OC position in recent days.  Bieniemy could very well return to the Chiefs if he and the front office can come to terms on a new deal. If he doesn’t, though, keep an eye on Washington as a possible landing spot.
