London Mayor Sadiq Khan wants to bring the Super Bowl to England
The Super Bowl is one of the top events on the world’s sporting calendar, and interest in it transcends borders, including Mexico, Brazil, Germany and England, where the Mayor of London has a goal to bring the most important game of the season to his city.
The NFL has forged close ties with London in recent seasons, with three regular-season games to be hosted at Wembley Stadium and The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, already has a clear objective, and his mission is to bring the Super Bowl to England, which would be the first edition of the big game to be played outside the United States.
In an interview with The New York Times, Khan said his goal is to bring Londoners and English people closer to the excitement of the NFL, which can be experienced in other places as well as on American soil.
